Last night, the kids all had their friends over.
The Carter's are leaving in the next few days so Kenna wanted Heather over, and Mook wanted Johnny over.
McKenna had Heather, Abbey and Kylie. Mook had Leah and Johnny. Surprisingly, it was quiet and calm.
Abbey and Kylie have a scout thing this morning - so- they left first and then The Carters not too long after.
The apartment complex has decided that they are going to man up and reimburse me .... so, hopefully that comes through really quick. So, I'm going to start researching and checking into other laptops.....
I'm just glad that I didn't have to mess around a lot trying to argue with the complex. It just took some nagging and I'm good at that!
Kenna and her friend Abbey decided that they were going to participate in a talent show on base..... the Youth Center on base sponsored it and they were holding it at the base club.
They decided to sing a song and do a little dance. They came up with a brilliant idea to have matching outfits.
So, tonight...was the show...
And they were runners up.
Cuz, they were awesome.
There is a DVD... and I'll be sending copies to those that want it....
I've been so neglectful of my little blog. But, it's been shitty.
I sent Samson to be fixed - because the N key wasn't working - so I had to send it to Jess so that she could have the Sony tech replace the keyboard at her apartment. So, I sent it via Express Mail - who delivered it to the apartment complex - they signed for it... and then... promptly let it get stolen. Sweet huh? What assholes.
SO, I'm using Melissa's old PC down here...and it's crap. It sucks so bad. I'm dealing with the complex ..trying to get them fess up the cashola to replace Samson. Perhaps they will, I don't know yet. I know that our renter's insurance will for sure, but.... I'm saving that for if and when the complex tells me they won't do crap. The next laptop I get.... is going to have Lo-Jack. For realz. There is this software that you install... then when you report it stolen, the next time the thieves turn it on, it sends the signal...and then they know exactly where it is. The Po Po go and pick it up and then some scumbag goes to jail. And.... it's not even expensive. It's 39.99 a year, or 89.99 for 3 years. It's SO worth it, right?
